Privacy, without the fog.

We collect the minimum information needed to run and deliver your GEO audit.

What we collect

When you request an audit, we collect the website URL, work email, optional competitor, the public pages and technical files our crawler retrieves, and the report generated from that evidence. We also receive ordinary service logs such as IP address, browser, request timing, and errors.

How we use it

We use this information to run the audit, prevent abuse, email the private report link, improve the scoring system, respond to questions, and—if you buy a plan—deliver and support that work. We do not sell personal information.

Public website crawling

The audit requests only publicly reachable HTTP or HTTPS pages and respects safety limits. It does not log into the submitted site, bypass access controls, or request private network addresses. A person submitting a site represents that they are authorized to request the audit.

Processors

Top of Chat uses Vercel for hosting and analytics, Upstash for report storage and rate limiting, OpenAI for evidence-constrained report language, AgentMail for email delivery, and Autumn and Stripe for paid checkout. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

Free audit reports expire after 90 days. Operational and billing records may be retained longer where needed for security, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. To request deletion or access, email hello@topofchat.com.
